Statement of Faith
We believe that there is only one True God as declared in the Shema. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:28-34)
We believe that He is Spirit and Creator of all things. (Genesis 1:1–3; Psalm 115:1-18, Psalm 121:1-8, Psalm 146:1-10, John 4:23–24; Hebrews 11:3)
We believe He is the heavenly Father of all: “The Fatherhood of God is synonymous for His love for the human family. Every creature is living proof that the father of all is a God of love.” (Everyman’s Talmud, by Abraham Cohen (1995) p. 22; also John 3:16; Ephesians 3:14-15)
We believe that the Torah, Prophets, Writings, and the New Covenant in their original texts are the only infallible and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe that the Law of Moses (Torah) was given as a guide for Godly living. (Deuteronomy 28:9; Psalm 1:1-3; Romans 3:31, Romans 7:12; I John 5:3)
We believe with perfect faith in the prophecy of Moses about the coming of the Messiah. (Deuteronomy 18:15-18; Acts 2:22-39, Acts 3:19-24)
We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Messiah to Israel, in accord with the Torah and the Prophets. (Genesis 49:8-12; Deuteronomy 18:15-19; Isaiah 11:1-16; Luke 24:13-35; John 4:23-24)
We believe in Yeshua’s divinity, sacrificial atoning death, and bodily resurrection. (John 1:1-18; Isaiah 9:1-6, Isaiah 53:1-12; Daniel 9:26; Colossians 1:14-18; Luke 24:36-49; I Corinthians 15:20-22)
We believe in the return of Messiah to fulfill the ushering of his people and the resurrection of the dead at the time of his coming to establish the Kingdom of God. (John 14:1-4; I Corinthians 15:20-28, I Corinthians 15:51-58; I Thessalonians 4:13-18)
We believe that God has sent His Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) to comfort, teach, lead, and empower His people (those who put their trust in Yeshua, keep his testimony and the commandments of God) to be an effective witness to the world. (Joel 2:28-32; Ezekiel 36:24-32; John 14:25-26; Acts 2:1-4, Acts 2:11-21; I Corinthians 12:1-13)
We believe that Jews who place their faith in Israel’s Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) have not disowned or separated themselves from their Jewish heritage, but remain sons and daughters of Israel. (Jeremiah 31:30-37; Acts 2:1-37; Romans 11:1-12, 25-29)
We believe in the unity and equality of all Messianic believers (those who place their faith in Messiah Yeshua/Jesus). We also believe in the specific calling of Israel as the priesthood to the nations who are specially loved by God with an everlasting love: Jewish and non–Jewish believers within the Torah frame joined and knit together as one body in service to God with Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah of Israel as the Head over all of us who trust in him. (Jeremiah 31, Jeremiah 46:27-28; Psalm 2:1-11; Romans 9:1-6, Romans 11:1-36; Galatians 3:26-29; Ephesians 2:11-22; I Corinthians 12:12-13)
We believe in the immersion of believers unto newness of life and the laying of hands for S’michah (Ordination) of Messianic Rabbis, Pastors, Elders and other forms of leaders, for sending forth into ministry, for the receiving of Spiritual empowerment and for healing. (Jeremiah 3:14-15; I Timothy 4:14; James 5:14-16)
We are not associated in any way with the so–called “Hebrew Roots Movement” or any form of “Replacement Theology.”
